your provTask visibility is directly tied to its scheduling configuration. If you cannot see an active task in your jobs monitor, the "ONCE" execution plan is indeed the most likely culprit.
If you want the task to remain visible and manageable in your standard Jobs view, you should change the configuration:
Change to a Cron Schedule: Even if you only want it to run rarely, setting a broad CRON expression (e.g., once a day or once a week) will keep it visible in the monitoring console.
Manual Trigger: If you strictly need it to run only when you say so, keep it as "ONCE" but be aware that you must look in the Task Configuration menu (not the Jobs monitoring menu) to trigger it manually each time.
