Importing Multiple Identity Types from a Single CSV File with Dynamic objectType Resolution

We would like to import multiple identity types from a single CSV file.

We currently have two identity types:

• operateur → contains the mandatory attribute operateur

• service → contains the mandatory attribute service

The CSV contains both types:

Our current configuration contains:

<defaultObjectTypeId>operateur</defaultObjectTypeId>

The issue is that all rows are automatically considered as operateur identities, which causes an error when the Operateur column is empty for service identities.

We tried using a customAssignmentRule to dynamically determine the identity type:

• if Operateur is populated → type = operateur

• otherwise → type = service

However, the script does not seem to be executed.

Questions:

• What is the correct way to dynamically determine the objectType during import?

• Should we remove the defaultObjectTypeId or use multiple SyncTasks instead?
