How to manual revoke a role assignment when the role has been provided through a policy in EDIT mode

Hello,

Automatic assignment policy has been set up for a role in EDIT mode.
However, application owner wants now to revoke manually the role given automatically for a list of 150 users.

I updaded the automatic assignment policy to switch in INIT mode. However, this only applies to new assignments.

What is the workaround to effectively manually revoke the role from users who previously had it?
