Distinguish identities created manually via the portal from identities created via the API or through an import connector

I would like to configure a role assignment policy for a specific identity population. However, there is no functional difference that I can use to distinguish them. Therefore, I would like to know if there is a way to identify the creation method used (manual creation, API, or import connector).
